Dear Members and Guests,
With the Phuket Laguna Marathon quickly approaching here are some health and training tips so that you are ready for the big day. Simply watch the video below and listen to some of the advice from your fellow RPM Health Club member Duncan Worthington, as he prepares to complete his first ever marathon on the 8th of June 2014.
Your personal training team leader Khun A, is also preparing for the event and will be running 21.5km (the half marathon) and your other personal trainers Joe and Nok are preparing for 10km events.
We have a number of members all ready registered for the Phuket Laguna Marathon (42km or 21.5km or 10km) and we are preparing club members to also participate in a fun run event on May 18th at the Boat Lagoon (11.5km or 4km). This is a fantastic fun event for all levels that can be a one off fun day or a stepping stone to prepare those of you who wish to continue on and complete the Laguna Marathon events.
If you wish to get involved or would like assistance and motivation with your fitness and training please contact the personal training team at your Health Club. If you would like to start immediately with run fitness and training please feel free to join personal trainer Joe every Saturday morning from 7-8am, as he trains outside to prepare his mind and body for running and the heat!
