We are delighted to announce the newly appointed Maya Caspi from Maya Pilates to the RPM Health Club team. Maya is a Polestar Pilates trained instructor, which is an internationally renowned Pilates method that fuses Pilates, physical-therapy, and mind-body-energy systems.
Maya believes that Polestar Pilates is one of the greatest methodologies on earth for mind-body balance and improved functional movement. She is committed to delivering a positive movement experience to all participants regardless of fitness level.

What is Polestar Pilates?
Polestar is a science and evidence based curriculum that applies Pilates to help individuals restore, achieve and excel in physical fitness.

Maya has completed the rigorous Comprehensive Studio training under the Polestar Education Program via their host site in Singapore. Since the start of her career in wellness and health, Maya has always been a believer in continuing education as an ongoing means to evolve, enrich, and refine her teaching techniques. She was certified as a Personal Trainer in 2008 and went on to study several more fitness related programs including certifications in Posture and Stability, Core Conditioning, and Mat Pilates before beginning her training with Polestar.

Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.
He called his work controlology and defined the six principles of his work to be Centering, Control, Flow, Breath, Precision and Concentration as he believed that his method used the mind to control the body, and that the body should move with control.
It has become one of the best forms of rehabilitation exercises as well as for sports performance but as he wrote in his book in 1934, Pilates is for everyone.
